The increase in investments in Mainland China's portable entertainment industry is due to its stable manufacturing environment and exporting infrastructure. While the line of portable entertainment devices have expanded due to the advances in digital audio and video technology and the abundance of memory devices, flash MP3 players dominate the production. Features are added and prices are lowered for the portable entertainment devices due to competition from new entrants in the market.
