Microsoft launched Windows Home Server (WHS) or Quattron, a home application with a graphical user interface designed to allow users with limited technical expertise have easier network management. Retailers should inform consumers that WHS is not a regular operating system (OS), but a supplement to Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows Media Center Edition. Ways to sell WHS to customers are presented.
