Sony's battery plans Jell: gel polymer models, customer support
Article Abstract:
Sony Corp has developed the UPP383562 polymer lithium rechargeable battery for cellular phones offering 540mAh capacity and a 3.7V operating voltage. It does not leak like conventional electrolytes due to the use of a laminated film as external casing instead of metal. This feature provides great design freedom and allows the creation of extreme thin models that can be further adapted to match the increasingly rigorous requirements of mobile phones.
