T1/460CCC, DB60C/2CC notebook computers
Article Abstract:
Toshiba Corp has introduced its DynaBook T1/460CCC and DynaBook DB60C/2CC A4 notebook computers with a Japanese voice-recognition and voice- synthesis software. Both versions incorporate a 600MHz Intel Celeron CPU and operate on the Microsoft Windows ME program. The voice-recognition and voice-synthesis software is LaLaVoice2001, which can recognize without prior registration of user's voice. The T1/460CCC also includes a 20GB hard disc drive and a 24x CD-ROM drive, and the DB60C/2CC has 10GB hard disc drive and a 24x CD-ROM drive.

LW23D, LW23C notebook computers
Article Abstract:
NEC Corp has launched six new models of its LaVie NX notebook computers. These include the LW23D and LW23C all-in-one models which incorporate a CD-ROM drive, a floppy disco dfrive, a battery and a fax modem. The A4 LT23D notebook PC features a 14.1-inch thin-film transistor, a CD-ROM drive and extension bay, while the LB16C model features a CD-ROM drive tht attaches to the bottom of the unit.
