MC-R 510 mobile computers
Article Abstract:
NEC Corp has launched its MC-R510, the latest model under its Mobile Gear II series of mobile computers. The MC-R510 features a 64-bit RISC CPU for processing power and a 56Kbps for data communiations, and can run for 10 hours using a standard battery plus four optional AA alkaline dry cells. The mobile PC, which has a price tag of 110,000 yen ($902) runs under the Japanese version of the Windows CE operating system.

Let's Note S51, Ace A44, S22, S22 Mobile Set computers
Article Abstract:
Matsushita Electric Industrial Company Ltd of Japan has introduced four new portable computers in 1999. The Let's Note S51, Let's Note S22, S22 Mobile Set and the Ace A44 computers feature built-in CD-ROM drives and weigh from 1.38 kg to 1.6 kg. The S51, S22 and S22 Mobile Ser are each equipped with a 266 MHZ Pentium processor. The S51 and A44 adopt an 11.3- in thin-film transistor color liquid crystal displays.
