Zscan LK-RS300 scanners adapt to mobile use
Article Abstract:
Matsushita Electric Industrial Company Ltd and Matsushita-Kotobuki Electronics Industries Ltd have introduced the Zscan LK-RS300U and LK- RS300UM mobile scanners that are designed to support the Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface. They overcome USB's rather slow 12Mbps data transfer rate by compressing data to one-sixth its original size and through the use of a unique, real-time image synthesizing method. LK-RS300U and LK- RS300UM sell for $267.

SSR-WP25 remote controllers
Article Abstract:
SMK Corp's SSR-WP25 standard remote controller at 159 x 47mm is much smaller than previous models. However, it includes a pointing device for cursor operations. Optionally, users can add a key dimmer, a laser-pointer function, a wired jack and a single-circuit, double-contact switch for operation convenience. Analog devices in the SSR-WP25 simplify remote control of cursors on computers.
