Tramming solution developed with help of CAD software
Article Abstract:
The Tram Monitor developed by Ed Malczewski of Riverwest Engineering and Design Co is designed to monitor the movement of milling-machine heads during machining. With this development, machinists can expect considerable reduction in tramming time and constant feedback of the milling head's tram status. The project is made feasible and easier with the use of a computer-aided-design software called CADKY.
