The British company, The Generics Group has brought high-tech blood analysis tools, fuel cells, radio tracking devices for racehorses, financial modeling software, cardboard soft-drink cans and knacks for helping other R&D operations exploit good ideas that don't fit into their regular business models. To support the exploitation of intellectual property generated and research ideas, Generics develops business plans, conducts market research, and seeks investors, with whom it shares risk.
