After transition what's next for ISO 9000?

Transfer of ownership of the quality system from the quality professionals and the internal auditors to the shoulders of the management team, where it rightfully belongs, is like tying meaningful business objectives to the management system. Some organizations have just finished the transition to ISO 9000:2000 and others in a wide range of industries are looking at this international management system standard in a new light for the very first time.
