Hewlett-Packard introduces a new calculator with the look and design of an old one. HP 35s is a commemorative edition of the previous HP 35, but has eight more keys. Features of the new model include 800 storage locations, 42 built-in constants, unit conversions, and more than 100 math and programming functions on two-variable statistics, regression, and numerical integration.

The lomega Corp., in San Diego, California, which introduced the Zip drive in 1995, is introducing a new 35-Gb format called the Rev in 2004. The Rev drive can store 35 Gb on its hard disk, even though it appears to be smaller than a deck of playing cards.
