Chemical-process simulation helps save money - and the environment
Article Abstract:
Comsol Inc has developed an interactive chemical engineering simulation and modeling software product called FEMLAB Chemical Engineering. FEMLAB features a user-friendly graphical user interface to graphically display solved systems of coupled non-linear partial differential equations. It also performs finite element analysis, and also contains a large number of examples from chemical engineering applications. It can model virtually any scientific and engineering problems that can be described with differential equations.
