Cooperation on biodegradable polymer certification
Article Abstract:
DIN CERTCO, a Berlin, Germany-based group, has entered into an agreement with New York-based International Biodegradable Plastics Institute. Under the agreement, the two groups will develop comparable policies and procedures for the certification of biodegradable and compostable plastic products. The development will hopefully facilitate the application for and acquisition of recognized certifications for suppliers of biodegradable plastics.
