Ergonomic workstations boost productivity
Article Abstract:
Managers can improve the performance of their plants by implementing ergonomic practices. Extended reaching, deviated body postures, mechanical stress and vibration exposures can cause lost work time. By developing new tools or procedures to eliminate these problems, managers can see large task cycle-time reductions, labor savings and lower workers' compensation costs.
