Services provided by manufacturing: the Hungarian case
Article Abstract:
Hungarian manufacturing companies were surveyed to determine the services offered to internal and external customers. Results show that quality and costs are more important to Hungarian firms than service. The factory as dispatcher is seen as having the most significant role in service delivery. The results are also similar to those from a UK survey, except for the role of the factory as a laboratory which was more important in Hungary.
