Novel sensors show their diversity
Article Abstract:
A UK firm has developed a unique, non-contact radio frequency (RF) sensor that is immune to dirt, dust and electrostatic contamination, operating at high speeds and temperatures. The RF sensor consists of an oscillator and an antenna, which generate on electromagnetic field and the sensor simultaneously interrogates the real and imaginary magnetic susceptibility or electrical permittivity of any material that enters the field.

Polymer used in ABS pump motor
Article Abstract:
A polyamide, used in non-automotive e-motor end laminates, would be used for the first time in-car applications. It would be used in the car's automatic braking system pump motor which is cost effective, maintain dimensional stability up to 290 degree Celsius that would provide a good balance of econabs pump motorsomics and rigorous functionality.
