Information technology (IT) has enabled shops and stores to become more effecient and effective, and even neighbourhood shops have benefited from electronic data collection using bar coding and scanning. Electrical contractors require some specialist skills and knowledge to instal data handling and computer systems, and they must be prepared to handle unexpected installatiion problems.

Protecting the UPS from battery failure: UPS are installed to prevent power failure meaning business failure, so the last thing you need is the ups itself going down when it is pressed into action
Article Abstract:
Manufacturers are making improvements in the design and manufacture of valve regulated lead acid (vrla) batteries, which are commonly used in UPs systems. This follows a survey that showed that 80% of UPs failures are due to battery failures which can be caused by drying out and internal corrosion. Improvements have been made to cell designs, and grid alloys.
