Geoffrey Linzell, the proprietor of Ball Burnishing Machine Tools and the inventor of TribTech, which is a patented method of joining parts by inserting a shaft or tube into a hole and cold galling them together, is diversifying his ideas into new markets of application. The new areas of application include the bonding of normally incompatible metals such as steel and aluminum, which can be used in delivering household cleaning chemicals in a clean and eco-friendly way and in the dispensing of skin care products.

Fabrications can be built up and repaired by cold particles hurled at a surface at supersonic speeds. It is thus possible to bond particle to substrates and particles to each other in metallurgical combinations normally considered impossible to weld.
