Article Abstract:
The extensive use of computers and easily usable software for statistical purposes, the traditional role of a statistician is diminishing and statisticians need to change from passive consultants into proactive leaders. For that they have to clearly understand the difference between managing work and leading people. Tips to understand and compare the changes between the two roles have been discussed.
