Strut self pumps to your required level
Article Abstract:
A new combination damper and self pumping gas suspension strut could have both military and commercial uses. The strut has electronic control requiring no additional springs or dampers. It is less complex than hydraulically pumped suspension systems, and was developed in response to a need to adjust ride height and to maintain damping and ride heights regardless of load.

Sensor choice drives quality
Article Abstract:
Engineers must choose a sensor carefully to use in automated manufacturing facilities. Sensors must be able to detect reliably at the lowest cost. Inductive sensors are suitable for the detection of metal objects. Capacitive sensors are for controlling the level of fluids. Photoelectric sensors work by modulation.
