The fine-tuned organization
Article Abstract:
Employees may be compared to orchestra members in terms of selection, training and responsibility for consumer satisfaction. As with orchestra members, employees are chosen for their exemplary ability. Constant training develops this ability, ensuring employee competence and competitiveness. Work harmony can also be improved with proper tools, specific instructions and competent management. While audience appreciation is shown through applause, fine-tuned organizations are rewarded by customer loyalty.

Helping the learning disabled participate in quality programs
Article Abstract:
The shrinking pool of skilled labor is compelling companies to train and develop their existing employees. These include employees suffering from learning disabilities (LDs), which are brain function disorders that weaken a person's ability to process, manipulate or control sensory information. Several ways of helping employees with LDs participate in quality efforts and perform more effectively are discussed.
