Article Abstract:
Lighting designer David Bryant employs 26 people in his company Midnight Design which has a turnover of 2 million pounds sterling a year. He and his partner Mike Townsend have some 500 regular customers and have been in business for 10 years. Amongst his past creations are the light show at London's Canary Wharf which took place over the Christmas period in 1995. Details of the project are described.

Channel 4's new headquarters at 124, Horseferry Road, Westminster, London, England, is a masterpiece. It was built by architect Richard Rogers. The building consists of two wings joined by a concave glass wall, which is the main entrance. The four-storey wings house offices, as well as a cinema, studio compleex, and technical and plant equipment in the basement and the lower ground floor.

Looking glass: the extension of a pavalion to Broadfield House, the UK's largest museum of glass, was achieved appropriately enough, by building the biggest every all-glass, self supporting structure

A new enclosure leading into Broadfield House glass museum, near Stour Bridge, West Midlands was made entirely from glass. It comprises a main double glazed elevation and a triple glazed roof. The Cool Lite K Neutral KN 169 glass from Saint-Gobain, is a safety glass with a thin layer of silver which controls heat by reflecting 61% of solar energy, but allowing 61% of daylight.
