Diet for the New World
Article Abstract:
Members of the Biosphere II Project are studying how much cultivated land would be needed to feed a given number of people. They also aim to develop a cuisine that is both nutritional and satisfying. The scientists subsist on food grown on half an acre of land to keep themselves well-nourished. However, they report that the food they grow could still be improved to satisfy their needs.
