Individual - based modeling of ecological and evolutionary processes
Article Abstract:
A study of individual - based modeling (IBM) of ecological and evolutionary processes is presented. Theorists are presently divided on whether IBMs represent only a practical tool for extending theory to more complex situations or a radically new research program and these two theories can be a source of creativity in ecology and evolutionary theory.

The evolution of genetic architecture
Article Abstract:
The genetic architecture is the structure of the mapping from genotype to phenotype, which determines the variational properties of the phenotype and is instrumental in understanding its evolutionary potential. The recent theoretical work on the evolution of genetic architecture and evolvability is emphasized.
