Effects of prey quality and availability on the life hisotry of a trap-building predator
Article Abstract:
Prey availability and nutrient quality appear to be significant factors affecting the life history of generalist predators such as orb-weaving spiders. Prey availability was seen as crucial to growth rates, while prey nutrient quality had direct affects on female fecundity and juvenile survivorship.

The influence of consumer diversity and indirect facilitation on trophic level biomass and stability
Article Abstract:
The effect of zooplankton species diversity on trophic structure and temporal stability of total zooplankton biomass is examined. Results reveal that increased zooplankton diversity significantly altered the size structure of algae, increasing the relative abundance of large, grazer-resistant algae.
