Parasites and size-assortative schooling in three-spined sticklebacks
Article Abstract:
The data of the occurrence of size-assortative schooling in a marine population of three spined stickleback Gasterosteus aculeatus L. (Gasterosteidae, Teleostei) is described. The patterns of parasite infections within and between schools and the extent of assortment of schools by parasite infection prevalence and /or intensity are examined.

Explaining adaptive shifts in body size on islands: a life history approach
Article Abstract:
The mechanism for size changes is investigated. The potential of decreased resource availability and reduced predation pressure to produce body size changes via the evolution of life history traits is described.
