Article Abstract:

Scientific research into the effects of different production systems on technological, nutritional, and sensory meat quality, with emphasis on pork is highlighted. It is concluded that combinatory effects of feeding, production systems, genotype, sex, and preslaughter treatments have to be addressed.

In search of human-associated bacterial pathogens in Antarctic wildlife: Report from six penguin colonies regularly visited by tourists

Article Abstract:

The fecal samples of different bird species of Antarctic are analyzed for human-associated pathogens into Antarctic wildlife as a result of tourism. None of the human origin of bacteria was found, and hence investigation is needed in areas closer to permanent Antarctic settlements.
