Corruption, political competition and environmental policy
Article Abstract:
A study conducted to find the relationship between political competition, environmental policy and corruption is presented. The consequences of political competition on environmental policies and on the elimination of corruption in the government are analyzed.

Important disparities existing between willingness to pay and compensation demanded for the same good are examined. The study included 350 individual decisions across two incentive-compatible elicitation mechanisms.
