Expansion options for mulch producers
Article Abstract:
Mulch producers are finding new markets as the industry continues to grow steadily. In addition to landscaping, mulch products are increasingly being used in biofiltration, soil erosion control and as horse footings in indoor and outdoor arenas. The availability of blowing, spreading and colorization equipment has made mulch more feasible for other applications including animal bedding, landfill cover and bioremediation. More and more producers are also using recycled wood in mulch products.
