Basics: cutting out
Article Abstract:
A well-made garment requires accurate cutting. Cutting will be less difficult with a good-quality, sharp, bent-handled scissors which allow fabric to lie flat on the table or cutting surface. A rotary cutter may also be used. The height of the cutting table should be adjusted for standing, which for most people is about 4 inches higher than the average dining room table.
