Artists have always found themselves in a love-hate cycle with museums. The chance for an artist's work to be put on exhibit may validate his artistry, but artists often resent how curators decide the monetary value of their work. Martin Scorsese's new movie, 'The Age of Innocence,' is based on the Edith Wharton novel about a high society love triangle in turn-of-the-century New York City. To preserve the language of the book, Scorsese uses a narrator and has actors recite thoughts aloud.
