Making his marks
Article Abstract:
Joan Miro painted unique dream-like images in which he reinterpreted reality. His contemporaries criticized his work as too simplistic, but Miro is now considered a pioneer of surrealism and modern art. His works will show at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, NY, from Oct 13, 1993 to Jan 11, 1994.
