Bordeaux whites and reds, Burgundy wines, and Champagnes are evaluated, along with wines from the Loire and a Chablis. The highest rated wine is a Burgundy red, a 1989 Frederic Esmonin Griottes-Chambertin at $80 a bottle. It is rated 92 on a scale of 100.
