Burgundy prices stay high at 1999 Hospices Auction
Article Abstract:
The auction of Burgundy wines at the 1999 Hospices de Beaune achieved high prices in spite of a large grape harvest. Prices for red wines increased by 3% whereas prices for white wines decreased by 9% when compared to 1998 figures.
