Armagnac: the elixir of D'Artagnan
Article Abstract:
The Armagnac region in southwestern France is famous for its brandy. The wine rose to prominence after the Dutch marketed it to other ports in the Baltic and the North seas in the 17th century. Armagnac sticks to the use of continuous distillation in addition to chauffe simple and chauffe double.
