Article Abstract:
A small non-descript shack called the Cypress Grill in Jamesville, North Carolina is a place that die-hard food enthusiasts love and the fishing shack on the banks of the Roanoke River has all the seafood one can imagine. The Cypress Grill may be one of the few places in the US where one can get traditionally cooked river herring covered in a thin sheath of cornmeal and cooked to the bone in boiling oil.
