Economic models and Blackfoot ideology
Article Abstract:
Someanthropological researchers delve into the native point of view by immersing themselves into the culture of a certain society or tribe. Other analysts find greater explanatory power in the development of models to describe specific subjectmatter. These alternative approaches to understanding culture must be fused to generate a more complete picture of the subject matter. Fusion of these approaches has proven effective in defining a view of the Blackfoot society.
