A 200-mile drive on dirt roads through Vermont is described. The journey proved to have many high points, and was slightly confusing as well, as the roads were not clearly marked.

Crossing Montgomery: the town of covered bridges

Montgomery, VT, has six public covered bridges that date from the 1800s. The town used to have eight bridges, but two were modernized. Construction of the bridges is described.
