It doesn't add up
Article Abstract:
There is some concern the Turner collection of maths books may have been sold to an overseas buyer by Keele University, England. The collection is estimated to have a value of several million pounds sterling. The university authorities maintain the collection will remain in the UK but will not name the new owner. Other institutions, in the UK, do not want the collection to be sold. The maths books, which include books used by Scientist Sir Isaac Newton, were collected by Charles W. Turner. Keele University was presented with his whole collection in 1968.
