Sgt. Shirley Gaulden is one of many American men and women in Bosnia-Herzegovina trying to help maintain peace. The troops have to deal with bad weather as well as face danger from mines and car bombs. Sgt Gaulden leads the military police assigned to guard a bridge over the Sava River.
