A Chinese obstetrician-gynecologist recounts her dilemma when she was ordered to kill an infant on Dec. 24, 1989. Although killing the baby was sanctioned by the hospital, she tried to persuade her superiors to spare the infant. However, she failed and the infant was killed by another person.
