Article Abstract:

Sea World of San Diego rescued a gray-whale calf from the shores of Los Angeles, CA on Jan 11, 1997. The Sea World staff, led by the animal-rehabilitation specialist Keith Yip, nurtured the young whale back to health and returned her to sea on March 31, 1998.
