Bridget LeRoy and her husband Eric Johnson after moving to Wilmot purchase the dilapidated and outdated New London Inn in 2004, which once had stood as a centerpiece in the nearby town whose potential buyers wanted to tear it down and start anew. They bought the 24-room inn in just over $1 million, and then completed $750,000 in renovations including a new and delectable restaurant, which Bridget opened on Valentine's Day 2005.

The Norwich Inn in Vermont, a famous place for travelers and locals since 1797, fell on hard times. The old inn brought together the proud owners Sally Johnson and a former loan officer Tim Wilson who tended it with tender, loving care to make it one of the premier destinations in the Upper Valley.
