Actions send wrong message
Article Abstract:
A number of flag-desecration acts committed by athletes, as well as pseudo-political groups, justify the passage of the flag-protection act contained in the House Joint Res. 54. Proponents say that the law would help young children understand that protecting the flag also protects the nation.

All Americans and Legionnaires are requested to intensify their support for a constitutional amendment that would protect the flag. Legionnaires and veterans are communicating with their representatives on other bills which affect them.
