Meetings with family members of suicide bombers and Muslims in Hamburg, Germany; Cairo, Egypt, and Gaza, Israel attempt to produce an understanding of the minds of suicide bombers. Martyrs are revered in Palestine, in the fight against Israel, while martyrdom in Egypt is not seen as acceptable. Muslims in Germany seemed more fervent than the other countries.
