American Legion's National Executive Committee approved five resolutions in consideration of the 21st Century Ad Hoc Committee report. Resolutions 27 to 31 addresses the issues concerning veterans at the turn of the century and fortifies the values of caring, service and camaraderie.

New leaders attend American Legion College

Thirty-four Legionnaires attended the American Legion College in 2000 to learn about marketing, leadership and communication skills before returning to their home bases. Their aim will be to increase recruitment into the American Legion.
