St. Joseph's Church in Worcester, MA, reopened and held Mass on Aug 4, 1996. The reopening came after parishioners held a 13-month vigil to protest the closing of the church. They even held Mass outside during that time, with anywhere from 10 to 250 people attending.

Geranium morality
Article Abstract:
A plant lover discusses her ways of taking care a geranium plant. It is a southern African native plant that grows well during winter. Geraniums are capable of growing as high as a tree and can produce large flowers with colors ranging from Chinese red to pink.

A fool for daffodils

Gardener Vallie Wells's obsession with daffodils led her to establish the New England Daffodil Show. She died shortly after planting daffodils at the cemetery where her husband was buried.
