The AFL-CIO intends to spend $35 million to ensure that the Democrats regain control of Congress. Aside from its renewed advertising campaign, the AFL-CIO has also adopted a new militant stand on key issues. The efforts of such groups could undermine the interests of a great majority of Americans.
