Bush, in 2002 establishes the 'Presidents New Freedom Commission on Mental Health', which is an effort to study the U.S. mental health system and to recommend improvements. The British Medical Journals website states that the Bush family and the pharmaceutical ties has led to the New Freedom plan which is a strategy to increase the drug profits.
