Bridge-bagging on the Connecticut
Article Abstract:
In the summer of 1998, Malcolm Matthews of Tolland, Connecticut, undertook a challenge to photograph all the bridges on the Connecticut River. Matthews, a retired state engineer, started at the Raymond E. Baldwin Bridge in Connecticut and finished at an unnamed bridge leading to the Lake Francis State Park campground in Pittsburg, New Hampshire.

Hawaii's Connecticut connection
Article Abstract:
Henry Obookiaha was born in Hawaii in 1792 during a period of war on the islands. His parents and brother were killed, but Henry escaped and was taken to New Haven, CT, by a ship's captain. He convinced missionaries to go back to Hawaii and teach his people the Christian faith.
