Article Abstract:
Manuel de Dios Unanue was murdered, to no one's surprise, following his long crusade against drug pushers and organized crime. Born in Cuba in 1943, he became editor of El Diario-La Prensa, New York, NY's largest Spanish-language newspaper. In the end, he died as he had lived, controversially and sensationally.
